ISIR will be holding an exhibition at MEDIUM in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture.
ISIR jewelry, proposed by designers who are heavily influenced by architectural thinking, is based on the concept of Autonomous & Re-edit, and is made with the basic premise that structural universality contributes to the accumulation of inevitability, eliminating the intervention of language as much as possible in the creation process.
The designer says that the brand name "has no special meaning," and the overall picture of the collection, which is composed only of letters and numbers and has no collection title, reveals his intention to encourage the ignition of an inherent relationship between the wearer and the jewelry, without being bound by the creator's thoughts.
Six years after the brand was founded, ISIR's jewelry has begun to balance its architectural background with the total amount of practice in the medium of jewelry, and from the 2022 collection onwards, the jewelry itself has gained its own individuality and is undergoing major changes within an autonomous continuum.
We hope that repeated non-verbal dialogue and introspection with the structures and objects themselves, and that this accumulation and transformation will become the brand's legacy.
This exhibition will feature a wide range of works, from our permanent collection to our latest works. For ISIR, this is an important opportunity to look back on our journey and take a new step forward. We look forward to reaffirming our philosophy and gaining further inspiration through MEDIUM.

We are pleased to announce that ISIR will be holding an exhibition in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, at MEDIUM. ISIR's jewelry, designed by a creator deeply influenced by architectural thinking, is rooted in the concept of Autonomous & Re-edit. Our creative process intentionally minimizes linguistic intervention, adhering to the fundamental principle that structural universality emerges from an accumulation of necessity.
“The name carries no particular meaning,”the designer states about the brand name. Likewise, collections identified solely by letters and numbers—without assigned titles—reflect an intention to encourage spontaneous connections between the wearer and the jewelry, free from the creator's imposed narratives.
Now in its sixth year since establishment, ISIR has reached a turning point where the designer's architectural background and the cumulative practice within the medium of jewelry are beginning to intersect. Since 2022, ISIR's collections have embodied this shift, with each piece taking on its own autonomy and evolving within a continuous, self-directed trajectory. We believe in the importance of engaging in non-verbal dialogue and introspection with structures and objects themselves. The accumulation of such interactions and transformations forms the legacy of the brand.
This exhibition will feature a wide range of pieces, from our permanent collection to our latest works. For ISIR, it is both an opportunity to reflect on our journey thus far and an important step toward the future. Furthermore, we are excited to use the setting of MEDIUM to reaffirm our philosophy and draw new inspiration.
